Ohio State Cheerleader Nearly Trampled as Players Run onto Field
January 13, 2015
The Ohio State cheerleaders tried to get the Buckeyes fans pumped up before the College Football Playoff National Championship against the Oregon Ducks.
Unfortunately, one cheerleader got caught when the Buckeyes players ran onto the field, as she fell and the players had to do their best to avoid her. One of her fellow cheerleaders tried to rescue her as she stayed down trying not to get trampled.

The male cheerleader deserves credit for trying to save her. Fortunately, the girl wasn't injured and was able to escape once most of the players had run onto the field.

The Ohio State spirit squad announced on Twitter that the cheerleader was fine.
That was probably enough excitement for one day for the cheerleader, but she still had a team to cheer on as the Buckeyes tried to win their first national title since the 2003 Fiesta Bowl.
