Patrick Beverley Reacts to LeBron Not Announcing Decision, Calls Out His 'Source' in Viral Post

Retired point guard Patrick Beverley may not have the answers on LeBron James' free agency after all.

Beverley wrote Monday morning that "rumor has it Bron makes his decision today." The day came and went without James agreeing to a deal.

That brought a response from Beverley on Tuesday:

Perhaps James has made up his mind and communicated as much to members of his inner circle. If that's the case, then everyone has done incredibly well to keep a lid on things.

Beverley may have had a source who led him to believe a resolution was forthcoming. Based on all of the available evidence, nobody really knows.

LeBron's agent, Rich Paul, maintains the 22-time All-Star is still weighing his options.

"We're not going to be rushed," Paul said on his Game Over podcast (via ESPN's Dave McMenamin). "We're not going to be rushed. It's his choice to make and when he makes the choice, he'll make it."

Unless it's coming straight from the source, it's probably safe to ignore anybody who claims to have inside information on a firm timeline for James' ultimate choice.
