Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger Is 1st QB with 2 500-Yard Passing Games
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had an incredible Sunday afternoon, setting a slew of league and franchise records with his 522-yard, six-touchdown effort in a 51-34 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
In addition to impressing with his counting numbers, the 32-year-old quarterback had one of the most efficient games in NFL history, completing 40 of his 49 pass attempts while neither turning the ball over nor taking a single sack.
His 522 passing yards tied for the fourth-highest total in league history, and his 40 completions were good for a 10-way tie in eighth place. He recorded the 41st game with six or more passing touchdowns, falling one short of the record of seven, which is held jointly by seven players.

Per ESPN Stats & Info, Roethlisberger also set Steelers single-game records for passing yards and passing touchdowns, both of which he already held.
Perhaps most notable of all, he became the first quarterback in league history to record multiple 500-yard passing games, of which there have been just 16.
Back in 2009, Roethlisberger completed 29 of his 46 pass attempts for 503 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-36 win over the Green Bay Packers, setting a franchise record for single-game passing yards that he surpassed in the fourth quarter of Sunday's contest.
Fittingly enough, Sunday also marked both the 100th regular-season win and 150th regular-season start of Big Ben's career, giving him a .667 lifetime winning percentage.
He joins Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks to win 100 or more of the first 150 starts of a career, per ESPN Stats & Info.
