Philadelphia Eagles vs. Arizona Cardinals: Live Score and Analysis for Arizona
A theme is developing for the Arizona Cardinals this season: "Well, it wasn't pretty, but..."
...But the Cardinals (6-1) are finding ways to win football games. Style points count for nothing in the NFL, and wins are all that matter. The Philadelphia Eagles came into University of Phoenix Stadium and put up one hell of a fight—right down to the last second of the game.
The Eagles (5-2) had the ball with a chance to win the game deep in Arizona territory on the final play, but safety Rashad Johnson, who had been picked on a couple of times in coverage by quarterback Nick Foles, stood his ground and shoved receiver Jordan Matthews out of the end zone before the big rookie could get both feet down inbounds.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"Struggle" is not the right word for what head coach Bruce Arians' team did on Sunday. The offense could not complete passes, nor could it run the ball successfully. The defense gave up over 400 yards passing to Foles and allowed 9-of-20 (45.0 percent) conversions on third down.
What matters most, however, is the uppercase "W" next to this game. Protecting home field in the tough NFC is a great way to make the playoffs, and though this team has a long way to go before they can be considered even the favorite to win its own division, the Cardinals are on the right track.
Finding ways to win games is a unique trait not many franchises have in today's NFL. When on the ropes late in games, Arizona buckles down and gets it done. It's fun to watch—regardless of the near heart attack we suffer every week.
