Le'Veon Bell's, LeGarrette Blount's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 7
Pittsburgh Steelers running backs Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount both struggled to get going on the ground against the Houston Texans in Week 7's edition of Monday Night Football.
Thanks to his receiving prowess, though, Bell was still able to make a considerable fantasy impact as a pass-catcher, helping dig the Steelers out of an early deficit and into a winning position at Heinz Field.
ESPN Stats & Info noted how prolific Bell has been on a consistent basis:

Bell has been the clear-cut feature back in Pittsburgh's productive offense, which was fourth in total yards ahead of Monday's matchup with the J.J. Watt-led Texans.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin called his team's toughness into question ahead of Monday's game, which Bell commented on, per ESPN.com's Scott Brown:
"It definitely caught our attention. When guys are called out, you have to respond, and all Coach Tomlin wants for guys to do is to respond. I know I'm going to respond and I'm pretty sure everybody in this locker room has the same mindset, and we understand we can't have another embarrassing loss like that.
"
When the going was tough for Bell as a ball-carrier, he stuck to the grind and found a way to make a massive splash.
Brown added another stat that puts Bell in a class of his own in the Steelers' impressive history:
Even before Bell suited up in Week 7, after many other of the league's top ball-carriers already had a game in hand, he was still fifth in ESPN.com standard leagues with 79 points for the 2014 season. Monday's performance showed how lethal he can be even when he isn't running well.
The two-yard touchdown pass Bell hauled in toward the end of the first half was just his second trip to the end zone of the year. If he can just find paydirt more often, Bell will bolster his standing among RB1s.
The bigger-bodied Blount is an effective battering ram and a nice complement to Bell. However, Blount just doesn't have a large enough role to exceed any other fantasy role than a flex option in deeper leagues.
