ALCS Schedule 2014: Orioles vs. Royals Game 4 TV Coverage and Predictions
The Kansas City Royals are still perfect in the 2014 MLB playoffs, and one more win over the Baltimore Orioles will clinch the American League Championship Series.
The last time the Royals were in the postseason was some 29 years ago, but it ended with a World Series title. This year's group is set on repeating that feat, winning all of their games from a Wild Card Game win over Oakland to Tuesday night's Game 3 victory in the ALCS.
After taking a commanding 3-0 series lead, the Royals need just one more victory to represent AL in the World Series. They have two games left at home to do so, but at this point, they may not need both.

Game 4: Orioles at Royals

In case you haven't been tuning in to the ALCS or the postseason in general, betting against the Royals has gone out of style at this point.
Starting with a extra-innings Wild Card Game win over the Oakland Athletics, continuing with an American League Division Series sweep of the Los Angeles Angels and keeping form against Baltimore, the Royals haven't lost a single game this postseason.
Four of their seven wins have come in extra innings, showing this team can simply get it done when it matters most. And it has plenty of ways to do so, from typical stout defense and timely baserunning to their sudden home run prowess (eight in seven playoff games).
After the Game 3 loss, many wondered whether playing Game 4 was even necessary, including CBS Sports' Adam Klug:
Not that Baltimore's rotation is its strength to begin with, but the Orioles will strut Miguel Gonzalez (10-9) out to the mound in Wednesday's Game 4. He hasn't made an appearance all postseason.
The Royals, on the other hand, will start Jason Vargas—who got his playoff confidence started with a six-inning, two-run performance against the Angels in a victory.

I had the Royals in five games to start the series, and that prediction was the way to go until Kansas City took Game 3. As potent as the O's lineup can be, it was slowed to a halt on Tuesday, and Vargas will have it going for his second postseason start.
Many teams would be happy to sit on a 3-0 lead, but not the Royals. They know that without taking care of business, they'll enter Game 5 needing a win to avoid going back to Baltimore.
That mindset will allow the Royals to keep doing the impossible.
Prediction: Royals win 3-1 to advance to World Series
