NFL Predictions: How Each NFC East QB Will Stack Up Statistically
NFL training camp opens in less than three weeks in what becomes a very exciting time of year for football fans. Even more remarkable is that the regular season opener is right around the corner, as well.
The NFC East is an incredibly talented division, especially at the quarterback position. Rookie Robert Griffin III will only make the division better.
Here's a look at how each starting quarterback in the NFC East will perform statistically in 2012. This is presuming that each quarterback plays all 16 games.
Robert Griffin III
1 of 4RGIII is the quarterback the Redskins have been searching for. He's a franchise changing player, but that isn't going to happen overnight.
He's a rookie and he will have a period of adjustment to the speed of the NFL game. He also doesn't have the best offense around him. The Redskins struggle to run the ball and don't have an effective offensive line.
Washington's defense will help Griffin because they are a very underrated unit. All and all, Griffin will produce good numbers for a rookie. However, to think he will put up the kind of numbers Cam Newton did as a rookie would be a mistake.

Michael Vick
2 of 4The 2011 season was one that Michael Vick and the Eagles would like to forget. He struggled to stay healthy and was wildly inconsistent.
Vick will have a bounce back year in 2012. DeSean Jackson is happy and Jeremy Maclin is healthy. A quarterback is only as good as the players around him.
I expect Vick will bounce back for that very reason. The Eagles offense is absolutely loaded around him.

Eli Manning
3 of 4You can't spell elite without Eli. Eli Manning is just that, an elite quarterback in the NFL. The guy has won two Super Bowls for a reason.
I expect that Manning has a very good season again in 2012. Hakeem Nicks' injury is worrisome because it could take him some time to get into game shape.
The Giants defense, running game and Victor Cruz will make them an effective team again in 2012.

Tony Romo
4 of 4The Dallas Cowboys have yet to see any true postseason success during Tony Romo's tenure as starting quarterback. Much of the blame has been unfairly put on him.
Romo has been a very good quarterback over the years. He will likely continue that in 2012, but that doesn't mean the Cowboys will win the division.
I expect Romo to produce consistent numbers, similar numbers to that of his entire career.
