Kansas City Chiefs Free Agency: Brady Quinn to Visit Chiefs
After Peyton Manning reportedly declined a visit with the Kansas City Chiefs, many fans began to wonder if the Chiefs would walk into the 2012 season with Matt Cassel as their primary quarterback. The Kansas City Star reported that the Chiefs want to have quarterback competition for Cassel this season.
Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com reports that the Chiefs are set to host a free agent visit with quarterback Brady Quinn. Quinn's connection with the Chiefs comes as no surprise as he played one season under Brian Daboll's offense in Cleveland.
Quinn started nine games for the Browns in 2009 and struggled to prove that he deserved a starting job in the league.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He threw 1,330 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions in his nine starts. Quinn completed 135 out of his 253 passes, giving him a 53 percent completion percentage that season.
Quinn struggled all season and picked up only two wins that season. His wins came against the Steelers and Chiefs.
Those may remember Quinn’s victory over the Chiefs, but probably aren’t aware of Quinn’s contributions to the game. That is because Quinn did very little to help the Browns in that game.
Quinn and the Browns came to Arrowhead Stadium for a blacked out contest. Jerome Harrison, the running back at the time for the Browns, amassed 286 yards on the ground against the Chiefs for the third best rushing game in league history.
Quinn was a non-factor, throwing for 66 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.
He has started 12 games in his career since 2007, all of them as a member of the Browns, coming away with only three victories.
Although he spent the last two seasons with the Denver Broncos, he never appeared in a regular season game with Tim Tebow and Kyle Orton ahead of him in the depth chart.
While Quinn has his college reputation behind him, will it be enough to survive in Kansas City, if he ends up signing a deal?
Cassel is returning from a season-ending injury that took place in Week 10 against Denver. If Cassel suffers another injury in 2012, Quinn might be Kansas City's top quarterback. Many may doubt Quinn's ability to lead the Chiefs because of his lack of activity the past two seasons. However, playing under Brian Daboll gives Quinn a reason to believe he may be able to help out the team, if his number is called.
Quinn could have a better understanding of Daboll's offense and be better prepared the second time around as he tries to resurrect his career.
