Giants vs. Packers: Tom Coughlin's Job Secure with Divisional Round Upset Win
Mirroring 2007, the New York Giants continue their improbable march to the Super Bowl with a Divisional Round victory over the Green Bay Packers, 37-20. With the win, Giants head coach, Tom Coughlin, is certain to keep his job beyond this season no matter what happens after this game.
During his tenure in New York, Coughlin's job has been on the line several times and it seems when that is the case, the Giants head coach answers by leading his team beyond their expectations to bigger things.
Such was the case in 2007 when he led the Giants to a Super Bowl victory over the undefeated New England Patriots.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This year, with his back against the wall and two consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance, not only did Coughlin lead his team back to the playoffs, but they have now upset two teams in a row to make it to the NFC Championship Game.
Not only did his team upset the Packers and before them, the Atlanta Falcons, they handed both teams a beatdown on both sides of the ball.
Eli Manning is quickly moving to elite status among his quarterback peers and the Giants defense is playing its best football of the entire season.
Whether you want to give him credit or not, Coughlin has proven he can get the most out of his teams and deserves the credit because that's the norm for a head coach when his team is playing at a high level and winning.
Coughlin is quickly becoming one of the most successful head coaches in team history and those who were hoping for Bill Cowher to be the next Giants head coach will have to wait.
Because with this win, there is no way the Giants can justify not bringing back Coughlin next season.
