Davante Adams: 'Hell Yes' I'd Want Tom Brady as Raiders QB; He Knows 'How I Feel'
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams would love to be catching passes from retired quarterback Tom Brady.
"Hell yes," Adams said when asked if he would want to play with Brady on Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay podcast (45-minute mark.)
Adams continued: "Tom know how I feel about him, man. And the other part is, I think I'd be the first person that played with Tom and Aaron [Rodgers], so that'd be pretty cool.

"I mean, he's getting older. But he gotta still be able to throw it better than half these dudes in the league."
Brady said in April that he was "not opposed" to the idea of coming out of retirement, per USA Today's Jordan Mendoza.
The former quarterback, who turns 47 in August, last played an NFL game in January 2023.
Sharpe laughingly told Adams that the Raiders would need to protect Brady, because he would not be able to withstand hits he had previously taken.
"And he ain't going nowhere, either," Adams answered. "He going to sit right there in that pocket, so you better have a nice, secure little home for him."
Adams' comments came amid quarterback uncertainty for the Raiders, who have not yet committed to Aidan O'Connell or Gardner Minshew as the starter for the 2024 season.
O'Connell at times struggled with inconsistency after taking over for veteran signal caller Jimmy Garoppolo midway through his rookie 2023 season, while Minshew, prior to his 2023 campaign taking over for an injured Anthony Richardson with the Indianapolis Colts, had more experience as a backup than a starter.
Adams told Sharpe that he was confident O'Connell would win the battle for the starting job after the 25-year-old "kind of got thrown into the fire a little bit" during his rookie season.
"I do believe in Aidan, and I think he's going to be able to feel a lot more comfortable," Adams said. "He looked pretty good in OTAs, and we just going to continue to grow and learn from each other. I've always been a big advocate for him."
It is likely Adams, who led the Raiders with 175 targets, 103 receptions and 1,144 receiving yards in 2023, will remain a top target no matter who Las Vegas chooses as their first-string signal caller.
If the Raiders did at some point during the 2024 season decide to make a bid to bring Brady back to the league, Antonio Pierce's club wouldn't be the first NFL team to consider making an offer to the former New England Patriots star. ESPN's Nick Wagoner reported in January that the San Francisco 49ers made "one final run" to recruit Brady prior to the 2023 season.
