Hulk Hogan Releases Video Updating Health After Kurt Angle's Comments on WWE HOFer
WWE legend Hulk Hogan attempted to debunk fellow Hall of Famer Kurt Angle's recent assessment of his health this week.
According to TMZ Sports, Hogan sent in a video that showed him doing a strut reminiscent of Ric Flair. Before strutting, Hogan said, "Hulk Hogan here, the greatest of all time, a little stiff, a little sore, but woooooo!"
Hogan was seemingly responding to comments made by Angle last week on his The Kurt Angle Show podcast. On the show (h/t Michael Schrute of WrestlingNews.co), Angle discussed seeing and speaking with Hogan at the 30th anniversary episode of Raw last week.

Angle said Hogan couldn't feel his legs after getting some nerves cut during a back surgery, and added that Hogan needed a cane to get around:
"Hogan had his back surgery again. He had the nerves cut from his lower body. He can't feel his lower body, so he has to use his cane to walk around. I thought he was using the cane because he has pain in his back. He doesn't have any pain. He has nothing at all. He can't feel anything. So now he can't feel his legs, so he has to walk with a cane. That's pretty serious, man. I mean, I really feel for Hogan. He put his heart and soul into the business and it ate him up."
The release of Hogan's strutting video came two days after his representative gave a statement to ET. The rep said The Immortal One is "doing well and is not paralyzed," before adding that "everything is OK" with Hogan.
It was also stated that Hogan is able to walk without the aid of a cane, and he proved it in the video.
The 69-year-old Hogan was the biggest star in pro wrestling for large portions of the 1980s and 1990s, and he arguably remains the most iconic figure in the history of the business.
Hogan first rose to prominence in WWE in 1985, winning the WWE Championship for the first time and being one of the driving forces behind the creation of WrestleMania, which has been a fixture for nearly four decades.
He would go on to hold the WWE Championship six times, and defected to WCW in 1994, becoming a six-time WCW world heavyweight champion as well.
Hogan transformed the landscape of pro wrestling when he turned heel in 1996 and formed the nWo, giving WCW the ratings edge over WWE for nearly two years.
The Hulkster returned to WWE after it purchased WCW, and in more recent years he had a run with TNA, and he has spent the past several years as an ambassador for WWE.
Due to numerous back surgeries, Hogan has not had a match since 2012 when he was with TNA, and it seems highly unlikely that he will ever return to a wrestling role again, even if he is in better physical condition than initially thought.
