Well, Cesc Fabregas did just that on Saturday against Bolton after a turbulent summer. Following the endless transfer saga, linking him to Barcelona, he admitted wanting to switch back to his homeland. But witnessed two bids turned down by a stubborn Arsenal.
The Spaniard put matters aside and helped his home country reach and lift the World Cup. A happy man indeed, until transfer talks began again. Eventually, Fabregas accepted his fate and stayed at Arsenal.

The leader of the Gunners, often seen as the heart of the midfield, had cast doubts over his commitment with the fans following the transfer saga. But Cesc Fabregas did not come out to talk; instead, he quietly got on with the job of regaining his fitness and playing football.

Andrei Arshavin did not have the best of games. He should have scored two goals when clean through, but squandered his chances. Chamakh is looking better with every game and his work rate is immaculate. And Carlos Vela did well to come on and take his chances.
On the injury front, well, it is bad news with Van Persie and Walcott out until mid-October. But Arsene Wenger has many attacking players to choose from. A really bad injury would be to one of our midfielders after Diaby injured his leg after the win at the Emirates.
But on the plus side, Rosicky is finally proving his worth and showing his creativity, Arsenal just need Vermaelen to stay fit to ensure a continuity in their glowing start of the season.
Manchester United are having a blip already in the season, now the Gunners must take full advantage of this and stay unbeaten until the big clash against Chelsea.
For now though, it's all praise for Cesc Fabregas!
