First of all, I would like to say that I'm Irish, so if you're looking for an unbiased view of things, keep looking!

We all know how France qualified for the World Cup - Thierry Henry's 'Hand of Frog' screwing the Irish out of their deserved place in the group stages.

A blatant red card, handball offence leading to France's qualification and the disgraceful aftermath that followed.

Comments from Patrice Evra, ''I would gladly give them a rematch...on my PlayStation,'' and Thierry Henry admitting that he purposely handled the ball after FIFA had ruled out a rematch, only further outraged the Irish.

Then there was FIFA. It started with the ridiculous seeding of the draw and ended with them insulting the Irish by offering us a 'Fair Play' award.

Today, it has ended in disgrace.

Disgrace for both France and FIFA.

France - which has a useless manager who refused to shake (South Africa manager) Carlos Alberto Parreira's hand after the match today - cannot co-exist as a group and have been knocked out of the World Cup.

FRANCE ARE OUT OF THE WORLD CUP! It's time to rejoice.

Then, we have FIFA—an organisation so corrupt that they make blatantly biased decisions in creating a draw that improves the chances that the "big" teams qualify.

FIFA has been exposed as a petty organisation that is unable to control its own competitions.

A fan even breached security and reached England's dressing room, and FIFA has refused to allow England and Slovenia train on their playing pitch for tomorrow's match.

These all show cracks in FIFA - in my opinion, an unprofessional organisation that has lost all respect.

So tonight, I can finally put that fateful night from November 2009 behind me as France bows out of the World Cup in shame and disarray, and FIFA has been unveiled as a petty and pitiful organisation.

So, today is a day for celebration...for the Irish!
