Canada head into Friday's game knowing just a point will be enough to secure a quarter-final spot, having beaten French Guiana in their opening game and drawn with Costa Rica last time out.
However, ahead of the clash, they have doubts over starlet Alphonso Davies, who has three goals already. The 16-year-old was forced off during the 1-1 draw against Costa Rica with an ankle injury.
According to Gavin Day of MLSSoccer.com, Canada head coach Octavio Zambrano expects the Vancouver Whitecaps youngster to be fit but warned he may opt not to start him against Honduras.
Although Davies would be a big miss, Canada will be confident of picking up at least a point, particularly with goalkeeper Milan Borjan having put in a man-of-the-match display against Costa Rica.
Honduras are also yet to score in the tournament, and they will look to Houston Dynamo trio Romell Quioto, Alberth Elis and Boniek Garcia to finally end their drought.

Meanwhile, Costa Rica's clash with French Guiana faces being overshadowed by the controversy surrounding Florent Malouda.
The former Chelsea star appeared against Honduras, despite being deemed ineligible by FIFA, which could result in a forfeited 3-0 defeat, per Michael Cox of the Guardian:
According to Alicia Rodriguez of MLSSoccer.com, Malouda could feature again on Friday, which could render the match meaningless.
Despite having four points from two games, Costa Rica are yet to really impress, having scored just two goals.
However, given the situation surrounding French Guiana, the result may not matter if Malouda plays and they are handed a walkover.
