Champions League Results 2016: Tuesday Scores, Group Tables, Qualified Teams
Arsenal sealed an unlikely top spot in Group A as they thrashed Basel 4-1 while Paris Saint-Germain drew 2-2 at home to Ludogorets in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
The Gunners knew they needed to better PSG's result to qualify to the last 16 as group winners and Lucas Perez was the key contributor at St. Jakob-Park as he netted a hat-trick.
Besiktas fell to a 6-0 humiliation at Dynamo Kiev to squander their chance of progressing to the next round, with Napoli advancing as Group B winners ahead of Benfica following their 2-1 victory in Lisbon.
Groups C and D had little riding on them on the final matchday, but Bayern Munich did earn a 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid to rob the Spanish side of a perfect record.

Tuesday Recap
Arsenal were 2-0 ahead inside 16 minutes against Basel as Perez turned home twice from close range.
The summer signing then completed his treble just after the break, finishing well into the corner of the net, before Alex Iwobi claimed a fourth for the Gunners and Seydou Doumbia a consolation for the hosts 12 minutes from time.
Per the Guardian's Daniel Harris, Basel were hardly the fiercest of opponents on the night, but Arsenal did their job excellently having needed a win to give them the best chance of top spot:
And it paid dividends.
Edinson Cavani equalised for 1-1 just after the hour for PSG at the Parc des Princes, the Ligue 1 giants having gone a goal behind to Virgil Misidjan's 15th-minute strike.
But instead of kicking on to get the win they needed to guarantee top spot in Group A, the French outfit were behind again when Wanderson netted for Ludogorets in the 69th minute.
Angel di Maria then made it 2-2 in stoppage time, but PSG now face the prospect of a tougher last-16 draw having failed to win, per French football writer Jonathan Johnson:
Besiktas' capitulation against previously winless Kiev was arguably the shock of the night.
The Turkish club could have guaranteed themselves a last-16 spot with a win, but instead they saw Andreas Beck and Vincent Aboubakar both sent off as their dreams were crushed. They were 4-0 down by half-time.
As a result, the other fixture in Group B became a straight shootout for top spot, Napoli and Benfica having gone into Tuesday's clash tied on eight points.
The Italian side came out as the victors following second-half goals from Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens, with Raul Jimenez pulling one back for the hosts three minutes from time.
All the positions in Group C were already decided before Tuesday but Barcelona still turned on the style to beat Borussia Monchengladbach 4-0, a 17-minute Arda Turan hat-trick in the second half following Lionel Messi's opener, per Squawka:
Meanwhile, Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw with Celtic at the Etihad Stadium, Sky Blues loanee Patrick Roberts giving the Hoops the lead in the fourth minute before Kelechi Iheanacho equalised soon after.
For Bayern, Robert Lewandowski was the key man as they edged Atletico at the Allianz Arena, the Polish striker curling in a fine free-kick in the 28th minute.
Meanwhile, there was a chance that PSV Eindhoven could have leapfrogged Rostov into the UEFA Europa League spot in Group D, but the two sides played out a drab 0-0 draw.
