La Liga Results 2016: Full Table and Scores After Final Week 10 Match

Valencia avoided defeat for the fourth time in six matches after drawing 1-1 in their visit to Deportivo La Coruna on Monday evening, which saw them climb two places into 14th after Week 10.

Los Che manager Cesare Prandelli ensured Valencia's recovery stayed along a steady courseĀ following a disastrous start to the campaign, albeit not gaining the three points they desired coming to Depor.

Emre Colak steered manager Gaizka Garitano's side into the lead on the stroke of half-time, but Rodrigo's intervention on the hour mark ensured Valencia walked away from their 18th-placed foes with a point in tow.

Week 10 was one to remember for La Liga's hierarchy, too, as league leaders Real Madrid defeated Alaves 4-1 on Saturday, while second-placed Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, fourth, beat Granada and Malaga, respectively.

Sevilla manager Jorge Sampaoli may wish to forget his side's most recent outing, however, after they stuttered to a 1-1 draw at Sporting Gijon, and Las Palmas came back from three goals down to draw 3-3 with Celta Vigo.

Read on for a roundup of the Week 10 scores in full, complete with a look to the updated standings and a recap of Monday night's drama.

Recap

Goals from Colak and Rodrigo saw to it that Prandelli had to wait for his second win in charge of Valencia, although it seems evident the improvements are starting to take effect at the Mestalla.

Both teams entered the fixture in desperate need of the three points in Galicia, and OptaJose pointed out just how badly the hosts have fared against Los Che in their recent history:

Depor suffered back-to-back losses against Barcelona and Celta Vigo, scoring just one goal across both those outings and conceding eight in the process.

A surging cross from Juanfran ensured that attacking record improved at Riazor, however, meeting the head of an onrushing Colak, whom OptaCan illustrated as a vital cog for his side of late:

The attacking midfielder edged the home outfit into a timely lead just before the interval, but it took Rodrigo just 15 minutes after the restart to pull back Valencia's equaliser.

Nani found himself tangled with a defender to the left of Depor's goal before sliding a ball across the box that Rodrigo would have struggled to miss, although Sky Sports' David Garrido noted it was far from pretty finishing:

Prandelli would care little for exactly how Valencia scored their goals, however, merely that they were put in the back of the net and their opponents prevented from grabbing a second-half winner.

Los Che ultimately held their enemies at bay but picked up four bookings for their troubles, perhaps fortunate to have escaped with a point to their name after Deportivo recorded 16Ā shots at goal to Valencia's nine, per WhoScored.com.
