Recap
Aguero returned from his three-match suspension to play his first Premier League minutes of September, and the Argentinian showed his UEFA Champions League form is still alive and kicking, bagging a brace against Swansea.
As shared by Squawka Football, it didn't take him long to bag his first goal:
Fernando Llorente tied things up shortly after, but Aguero reclaimed the lead for his team, and Raheem Sterling added a third. De Bruyne left the pitch limping late and went straight down the tunnel with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
United star Paul Pogba put together his best showing for his new club yet, scoring a goal and earning a Man of the Match award in the 4-1 win over Leicester City.
Yahoo Sport UK's Liam Canning noticed he played liberated with Wayne Rooney not taking up space in midfield:
After a slow start, the Red Devils turned on the jets and dominated the Foxes. Chris Smalling opened the score, and Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Pogba all added their names to the scoresheet before half-time.
Demarai Gray added a goal for Leicester, but by then, the result was already as good as certain.
Afterward, Pogba posed with his Man of the Match award:
Tottenham Hotspur stayed on track as well, beating Middlesbrough 2-1 thanks to a double from the surging Heung-Min Son. The South Korean has been one of the hottest midfielders in the Premier League of late, a welcome addition to a young and ambitious Spurs squad.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino thinks there's still work to be done, per Spurs' Twitter account:
Rivals Arsenal also bagged three points, as Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil all scored in the first half of their routine win over Chelsea. ESPN FC's Miguel Delaney was very impressed with what he saw from the Gunners:
Chelsea's defence endured a horrendous night, as both Gary Cahill and David Luiz blundered away. Two of the three Arsenal goals came as direct results of defensive errors, and Ozil was also given all kinds of space to fire home his volley.
Bournemouth shocked in-form Everton thanks to a single goal from Junior Stanislas, and Christian Benteke scored a late winner for Crystal Palace in their victory over Sunderland.
