Premier League Fixtures: Live Stream, TV Schedule and Week 4 EPL Predictions

Christopher SimpsonSep 9, 2016

Manchester United's clash with Manchester City is poised to light up Week 4 in the Premier League on Saturday, and there are intriguing matchups to be found elsewhere, too.

Liverpool will host champions Leicester City at Anfield, while Southampton will travel to the Emirates Stadium to face what could be a somewhat new-look Arsenal side.

Chelsea will play Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur will test their mettle against Stoke City, and David Moyes' Sunderland will hope to spoil former club Everton's visit to the Stadium of Light.

Liverpool vs. Leicester City

Liverpool's home clash with Leicester holds real potential for fireworks on Saturday evening.

Per Sky Sports News HQ, Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri revealed that deadline-day signing Islam Slimani could be set to make his debut for the club:

The Algerian—and Riyad Mahrez's international team-mate—was a prolific goalscorer throughout his spell in Portugal, per OptaJoe:

Powerful, hard-working and clinical, he can pose Liverpool's back line serious problems.

In Ahmed Musa, Jamie Vardy—who scored twice the last time the two sides met—and Mahrez, Leicester also have a great deal of pace to threaten the Reds on the counter.

Liverpool will be enjoying a debut of their own on Saturday, playing their first Premier League match at Anfield with the revamped main stand.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is hoping it can give them an edge:

How they fare will largely depend on which Liverpool turns up and if they can sustain a performance throughout the match—despite beating Arsenal in the opening weekend, the Reds were woeful for large swathes of the game while a 2-0 defeat to Burnley in their following outing further showed their vulnerability.

There should be plenty of chances for both sides, and Leicester are in an excellent position to earn at least a point from the game.

Arsenal vs. Southampton

New signings are also set to star at the Emirates, though Southampton's Sofiane Boufal will not be among them, as he faces a month on the sidelines, per Sky Sports' James Dale.

For the Gunners, Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez could feature after being brought in shortly before the close of the transfer window.

Football journalist Sergi Dominguez is an admirer of both players:

With the duo adding solidity at the back and more goals up front—along with Granit Xhaka added to an impressive complement of midfieldersArsenal now look far stronger than they have in recent years.

Against a Southampton side who have made an uninspiring start to life under Claude Puel, they have the opportunity to send a message to their title rivals.

The Saints have failed to beat Watford and Sunderland—who have struggled themselves—already this season, and there's little to suggest they'll turn around their form here.

Arsenal should be able to win this handily and perhaps show some title credentials in doing so.
