What's At Stake?

Since the Colts are virtually locked into the league's worst record, this game only really matters for the Titans. Tennessee currently sits one game behind the New York Jets in the AFC wild-card race and can't afford to slip up on Sunday.

Titans' Injury Report

QB Matt Hasselbeck (questionable, calf), WR Nate Washington (questionable, back), DB Jason McCourty (probable, concussion)

Colts' Injury Report

QB Peyton Manning (out, neck), LB Philip Wheeler (questionable, ankle)

Fantasy Start 'Em, Sit 'Em and Sleeper

Start 'Em: RB Chris Johnson (TEN) – Johnson has looked more like his usual self as of late with two 20-point outings in the last five weeks. Another one is a distinct possibility against an Indianapolis run defense which has been awful for the better part of a decade.

Sit 'Em: WR Reggie Wayne (IND) – It's been a season to forget for Wayne and his fantasy owners. He's only scored more than seven points on two occasions all season. It's hard to see him fairing much better against a stout Titans defense that ranks ninth against opposing fantasy WRs.

Sleeper: Tennessee Titans defense – Tennessee's defense is owned in less than 20 percent of ESPN leagues, but are worth utilizing this week. They scored 18 points against the Colts in their first meeting.

What They're Saying

John Glennon of the Tennessean took a look at five keys to Sunday's game for the Titans. He says the biggest advantage the Titans will have is on the mental side.

"

Motivation should be squarely on the side of the Titans. A Tennessee win, coupled with a New York Jets loss in Philadelphia, would leave the Titans holding the sixth playoff spot with two weeks left in the season. A Titans loss might just mean an end to the team's playoff hopes. What are the Colts playing for at this point -- other than the hope of avoiding the embarrassment of a winless season?

"

The biggest news out of Indianapolis concerns the team's injured quarterback. Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star reports that Manning continues to throw, but there are no plans for him to practice yet.

"

“His rehab is, they’re increasing it, is ramping up a little here and there,’’ coach Jim Caldwell said prior to this afternoon’s practice. “But in terms of today, no. There is no plan (for him to practice) at this point.’’

"

Titans Player to Watch: DB Jason McCourty

McCourty is expected to return after a concussion sidelined him last week. His presence will provide an immediate boost to Tennessee's defense. Through 12 games, the former sixth rounder has 87 tackles and two interceptions as his growth as a corner continues.

Colts Player to Watch: RB Donald Brown

Written off by many as a bust entering the season, Brown has actually been the Colts' most consistent back in 2011. Joseph Addai has struggled with injuries yet again and rookie Delone Carter has been ineffective. Brown should see a heavy workload against the Titans.

Key Matchup: Titans' offensive line vs. Colts' pass rush

The tandem of Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney are still one of the most feared pass-rushing duos in the NFL. Their numbers aren't as gaudy this season because the haven't been able to pin their ears back and launch into attack mode with a big lead. The Titans' offensive line must keep them in check.

On the Hot Seat: Colts HC Jim Caldwell

Caldwell can't expect to remain winless for this long without landing on the hot seat. Even with Manning's neck problem, the Colts have enough talent on the roster to win at least a few games. It will be interesting to see what Indianapolis does with Caldwell should the team go 0-16.
