If Andy Reid Is Fired, Who Takes over as Next Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach?
In the midst of their seventh loss of a disappointing season, Philadelphia Eagles fans voiced their displeasure with head coach Andy Reid with chants of "Fire Andy!" on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
After going ahead 10-0 early in the first quarter, the Eagles gave up 21 straight points and eventually lost to the New England Patriots 31-20.
Now, with seven losses to their 2011 record, the Eagles find themselves in a position where the playoffs are likely out of the question. It'd take a miracle for Philadelphia to sneak in as a Wild Card or the NFC West's representative.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The addition of names such as Nnamdi Asomugha, Cullen Jenkins, Jason Babin, Domnique Rodgers-Cromartie and Vince Young put expectations for the 2011 season at unreachable heights.
Some are calling for Reid to go. While I think he's earned a certain level of amnesty over the years in Philadelphia, Reid is certainly a coach who will be talked about heavily as one that may get fired after this season.
If Reid is fired—and for the record, I don't think he will be—or resigns, the following names could be candidates for the Eagles head coaching job in 2012.
Marty Mornhingwig
The Eagles' current offensive coordinator has been a head coach before, and his hiring wouldn't mean drastic changes to the organizational structure as it stands now. Easy transition, especially if Reid resigns.
Brian Schottenheimer
The Jets' offensive coordinator has been a hot name in several head coaching vacancies over the past couple of years.
He's a young offensive mind that would rely more on the running game than Reid has over his tenure in Philadelphia, which would likely be a welcome change for Eagles fans.
Bill Cowher
I'm not 100 percent sold that Cowher wants to return to coaching, but there would be few jobs as enticing as the Eagles. The roster is stacked with talent, and there's a franchise quarterback in place.
Cowher would, at the very least, have to consider it.
Winston Moss
The Packers' assistant head coach and inside linebackers coach is going to be a hot name this offseason, especially if the Packers win another Super Bowl.
He brings defensive coaching experience in both the 4-3 and 3-4, and Moss could likely convince Packers safeties coach Darren Perry to come with him to be his defensive coordinator.
Brian Billick
Billick has gotten comfortable in his role as an analyst at FOX Sports and NFL Network, but the chance to coach the Eagles' offensive weapons would be a tough role to turn down for the offensive guru.
Jon Gruden
Like Billick, Gruden looks like he's enjoying his role as a color commentator for Monday Night Football.
But as one of Reid's former colleagues in Green Bay, don't you think he'd consider taking over the Eagles job if Reid left on his own terms?
