Chiefs vs. Patriots: Tom Brady Must Make Quick Work of Slumping Chiefs
The New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs square off tonight on Monday Night Football and it needs to be a one-sided game or Tom Brady will be heavily criticized for not punishing such a depleted team.
Brady continues to be billed as the league's top quarterback, but if he falters against the Chiefs then the title should be easily awarded to Aaron Rodgers.
The Chiefs are on a current two-game losing streak and having lost starting quarterback Matt Cassel for quite some time, their season is all but over.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If the Patriots don't dominate right from the start, there is definitely cause for concern. New England's offense has had its rough moments at times this year, but it shouldn't have any problems at all in Monday night's game against the Chiefs.
Kansas City allowed Miami's Matt Moore to torch them for three touchdowns, meaning Brady better do the same. As an elite quarterback in the NFL, Brady must demolish the teams that he's supposed to. He's had some very impressive performances this year and he needs to make sure Monday night is added to that list.
Over the course of 11 weeks, the Chiefs have allowed an average of 230 passing yards per game. The Patriots have the No. 1 passing offense in the league, averaging a total of 326 yards per game.
However, Brady has slipped up in some games, throwing multiple interceptions in three games this year. Only twice this season has Brady passed for less than 230 yards, but one of those came against a stout Pittsburgh Steelers defense. The other was against the Oakland Raiders.
Brady has a chance to set an NFL record tonight, but only if he is on his A-game.
Having thrown for over 300 yards six times already this season, Brady should be able to accomplish the same on Monday night.
Much of the talk for this game has been about Tyler Palko getting the start at quarterback for the Chiefs, but there should still be focus on Brady and the Patriots team as a whole.
This is a game they should easily win, but since everyone considers them a lock, they could very well lay an egg and struggle for all four quarters.
For a team with Super Bowl aspirations, that cannot happen on Monday night.
Again, anything can happen in the NFL, but Brady needs to make sure what does happen is a Patriots beat down of the Chiefs. New England could very well be looking ahead to the Philadelphia Eagles, but it better not make that mistake or the Chiefs will catch the Patriots off guard.
Brady has to start strong and make sure he puts the Chiefs to bed early in the game, because a lackluster performance against a sub-par team will only hurt him down the road.
