Vince Young Becoming the Next Adam 'Pacman' Jones After Latest Lawsuit
It certainly hasn't been the smoothest career for quarterback Vince Young, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.
In addition to reports that he allegedly attempted suicide in 2008 after leaving his home with a pistol, Young's play on the field was underwhelming until last season. Ironically, last season marked the end of his time with the team that drafted him, the Tennessee Titans.
It was during this time that Young reportedly got in an argument with head coach Jeff Fisher in the locker room and threw his shoulder pads in the stands after being held out of the Titans' loss to the Washington Redskins on Nov. 21. He was consequently let go by the team and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason as Michael Vick's backup.

Now, Young is not only struggling on the field, he's being sued by Dallas strip club owner Creiton Kinchen.
Kinchen is suing Young for assault, claiming Young hit him ”suddenly and without provocation" in an altercation in the summer of 2010, according to court documents, via BlackSportsOnline.com.
Kinchen claims Young became upset when he wasn't allowed to buy $8,000 in one-dollar bills to throw at strippers in the club.
Young is becoming a sad story in a league that has had quite a few throughout the years. He's almost resembling Adam "Pacman" Jones, whose wild behavior nearly got him kicked out of the NFL for good.
Will Young become an afterthought?
He apparently already is to the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jonathan Tamari, who tweeted on Wednesday:
Fans have already come out in waves after the news broke:
As you can see, it appears Young has already worn out his welcome in Philadelphia and he hasn't even been with the Eagles for a full season.
There are some players who just attract trouble. Or make their own trouble. However you want to put it. Young is teetering dangerously on the edge right now at a time when he actually should have been flourishing on the field. Based on his development as a quarterback, he conceivably could have been starting for the Titans this season. Now he can't even handle being a backup quarterback.
The problem with Young's past is it continues to follow him long after the fact. He could be trying to redeem himself, but it appears there are still some demons haunting him.
All Young can do now is ride it out and prove he's a changed man.
But that's kind of hard to do when you are going to court for allegedly assaulting a strip club owner.
