NFL Trade Rumors: Peyton Hillis' Week 6 Makes It Hard for Browns to Trade Him
Peyton Hillis' name has been swirling around NFL trade rumors for weeks now, but after his performance on Sunday, it will be hard for the Cleveland Browns to trade him.
Hillis, who was forced from the game in the second quarter because of a hamstring injury, finished with just 14 yards on six carries.
It was an extremely disappointing performance against a Raiders defense that had been giving up 5.2 yards per carry on the season coming in.

Add on top of that his hamstring injury, and prospective suitors for Hillis can't be all that excited to trade for him.
According to Rotoworld, however, the hamstring injury isn't serious.
"Peyton Hillis "tweaked" his hamstring in the first half of Sunday's game against the Raiders.Hillis spent the entire second and third quarters on the sideline in pads with a hat on as Montario Hardesty carried the load. But then out of nowhere, the Browns put him in for a couple plays in the fourth quarter. The pull obviously isn't severe, but Hillis won't regain the feature back role at less than 100 percent.
"
Still though, I find it hard to believe that any team is going to want to give up draft picks for Hillis, who has looked fairly mediocre this season and now has a hamstring injury.
Because anything broken or torn, hamstring injuries are quite possibly the worst types of injuries. They can linger on for a long time, and even when you think you've healed from one they'll come back with a vengeance.
It's not a problem that any team wants to take on, especially in the next week before the NFL Trade Deadline passes. They just won't know enough about the extent of Hillis' injury in time to trade for him.
This is just a bad situation in Cleveland right now.
Hillis isn't happy with his whole contract situation and the Browns ideally want to get something for him while they can and open up room for Montario Hardesty.
But with Week 6's most recent developments, they'll be lucky to get much of anything for him.
Hillis is stuck in limbo right now. And it's not good.
