NFL Picks Week 6: St. Louis Rams and Back-Door Covers That Will Make You Cash
At first glance, many NFL games seem like easy bets. This is usually the case when an elite team is playing against one of the league's bottom-feeders. While blowouts certainly happen on occasion, teams are capable of playing close games regardless of their records.
There are several games this weekend where bettors have to look past the perceived talent gap and take into account the hefty lines. Here are three teams that are heavy underdogs, but will be sneaky covers in Week 6.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 2011 season has been unkind to the Miami Dolphins thus far, as they currently hold an 0-4 record. Despite that, they have played some close games and really aren't as bad as their record would suggest. An adjustment will have to be made offensively, though, with quarterback Chad Henne out for the season and Matt Moore stepping in.
The Dolphins face a scuffling New York Jets team on Monday night that will surely be desperate to win. Most probably figure the Jets need a statement game and will easily cover the seven-point spread, but I'm not so sure. The Jets have struggled mightily against the run, and rookie Daniel Thomas has run well for Miami. I think this should be a one-score game at worst.
Since beating the Tennessee Titans in Week 1, it has all been downhill for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags have turned to rookie Blaine Gabbert at quarterback, and while he has performed admirably, he hasn't been able to take control of any games.
While the Jags haven't actually covered since Week 1, they have hung in there against some pretty good teams like the New Orleans Saints and Cincinnati Bengals. The Jaguars are 13-point dogs against a Pittsburgh Steelers team that destroyed the Tennessee Titans last week. Most seem to think the Steelers are all the way back, but I'm not counting on two consecutive blowouts.
St. Louis Rams
When the 0-4 St. Louis Rams take on the 5-0 Green Bay Packers, most believe the result of a big Packers win will be inevitable. While I think it's obvious that Green Bay will win, I think that this game will be much closer than most believe.
The Rams are far more talented than their record would suggest, and they have had a full extra week to prepare for the Packers due to a bye week. Green Bay's pass defense has been weak to this point, so St. Louis offensive coordinator has surely thought up some new wrinkles to exploit that. The Packers should overcome that, but not by more than two touchdowns.
