Fantasy Football Week 6: Why Drew Brees Will Start Run as 2011's Best Fantasy QB
It's hard to imagine many people doubting that Drew Brees is one of the NFL's top three active quarterbacks. With the exception of Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, no quarterback is as important to his team's success as Brees is to the Saints.
When you consider just how successful the Saints have been in Brees' tenure in New Orleans, that's saying something.
But just for one second, take a look at the Saints remaining schedule in 2011.

The weather is starting to get a little colder across the country. While I think that's often an overrated factor in games, it's pretty hard to deny that teams will not be as aggressive in the passing game if they are playing in precipitation, or high winds.
But look at that schedule again. There are two games remaining on the Saints' schedule that are outdoors.
One of those comes this weekend against a Buccaneers team that just got torched by Alex Smith. The other one is later in the year, in a potentially tough passing day in Nashville, Tennessee.
Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady don't have anywhere near that luxury.
So, don't overrate the weather when it comes to predicting who will win or lose a certain game. The best team will probably win.
But if we're trying to forecast quarterback's numbers, take a look at the guy who isn't going to have to worry about them.
Consider that that quarterback has a seemingly never-ending group of receivers to throw the ball to, and is in an offense that passes a lot. He gets the advantage of not having to worry about the one thing out of everyone's control.
He's also one of the best in the game. Brees will have a big game against the Buccaneers and, as long as he stays healthy, will be fantasy's best quarterback for the rest of the year.
