Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Advice: Whom to Pick Up in Week 6
If you need help bolstering your fantasy football roster now that the NFL bye weeks are in full swing, check out the Bruno Boys’ recommended “Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Pick Them Ups” for the week ahead.
Tebow went 4-for-10 for 79 yards and a touchdown along with 38 rushing yards after replacing Kyle Orton on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers, which should be sufficient production for him to earn the starting job in place of Orton.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Denver has a bye in Week 6, but it would be considered a fairly major upset if Tebow does not start Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins.
He proved as a rookie late last season he is a very fantasy-worthy signal caller even without glamorous passing yardage totals, so he is a virtual must-add in all formats for those who need to upgrade their quarterback depth.
Those that do add him will probably have act fast, but Tebow is still available in 93 percent of Fleaflicker leagues right now.
Consider Adding In: 10-team, 12-team and 14-team leagues, particularly for those that own Kyle Orton.
Jackie Battle (Kansas City Chiefs)
Battle had 19 carries for 119 yards and two catches for 21 yards against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. He had more carries than Thomas Jones and Dexter McCluster combined (14) in the game, and should see increased work going forward if he can continue to be productive.
Kansas City does have a bye in Week 6, but a favorable matchup would make Battle a suitable addition for possible use as a bye-week replacement that week and possibly beyond that.
Owners in deep leagues, perhaps those who have had their running back corp hit by injury or lackluster production, can find a lot to like with Battle. He is available is just about all Fleaflicker leagues and will be one of the hottest waiver wire pickups of the week.
Consider Adding In: 12-team and 14-team leagues.
Delone Carter (Indianapolis Colts)
Carter had 12 carries for 22 yards and a touchdown along with two receptions for 12 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs, as he saw increased work when Joseph Addai (hamstring) left the game. Addai’s status for Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals is unknown, but the fact he was injured early in Sunday’s game and did not return is not a good sign.
Carter is likely to split time with Donald Brown in Addai’s absence, but the rookie has the better upside and appears well-suited to goal-line work. If you are a fantasy owner in a deep league looking to add some running back depth, Carter is a solid choice with some upside potential. He is still available in 89 percent of Fleaflicker leagues right now.
Consider Adding In: 12-team and 14-team leagues.
Victor Cruz (New York Giants
Cruz had eight catches for 161 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks, and now has 17 receptions for 369 yards and three touchdowns over the last three weeks.
Cruz did lose a fumble and pass that bounced off his hands and was returned by the Seahawks for the game-clinching touchdown, but he appears to have a significant role in the Giants’ passing game and with that has solid fantasy potential going forward.
A stretch of fairly favorable matchups starts in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills and will continue after the Giants' Week 7 bye with the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers in Week 8 through Week 10.
Cruz’s value is greatest in PPR leagues, but owners in standard leagues can consider adding him as well.
Consider Adding In: 12-team and 14-team Leagues.
