Week 5 Start 'Em Sit 'Em: Reggie Wayne and 5 Bust WR To Sit
The wide receiver position on your fantasy football team should not be winning you ballgames. If it is, then your team has some serious problems.
The wide receiver maybe touches the ball three to five times a game. So why would you waste a high draft pick on this position? There has been only two elite receiver this year that have been as important as a running back or quarterback.
After Wes Welker and Calvin Johnson, the crop of receivers are a dime a dozen.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This week though, there are five receivers that have either underperformed through four games this year and will continue to have horrible performances this week, or receivers that just have bad matchups.
Either way, if you happen to start any of these five players you can expect an L after the week is over.
As coach Herm Edwards said once, “You play to win the game, hello, YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!”
So do like the general public did to the now canceled television show The Playboy Club and stay as far away to these receivers that should be canceled this week.
Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts
Wayne just has bad luck this year. It’s not his fault his fantasy value went into the toilet when Peyton Manning went down with a bad neck.
Since Manning’s injury Reggie still is the favorite target among Colts wide receivers. But, for as many targets as he has, he is second on the team in receptions.
He will continue to struggle this week as Kansas City shuts him down.
Nate Washington, Tennessee Titans
Nate has been one of the better wide receivers this year and is the No. 1 option on a good passing offense in Tennessee. But this week against his former ballclub, the Steelers, Nate will see a lot of shutdown cornerback Ike Taylor.
The Steelers rank first in passing defense and will eliminate Nate’s production.
Wes Welker, New England Patriots
Welker is on pace to break Jerry Rice’s all-time receiving yards mark. He has 600 through the first four games of the season and is on pace to have a career high in receptions.
But, this week Jets head coach Rex Ryan will make sure that Welker takes a trip to Revis Island. A place where receivers go and never make it off the island.
Mike Wallace, Pittsburgh Steelers
For the Steelers, Wallace has been one of the best players on offense this year. But, it seems as if this week he is the only healthy option on offense. Tennessee will look to eliminate Wallace and force the backups to beat the Titans in Pittsburgh.
Brandon Lloyd, Denver Broncos
Lloyd this year has yet to have that breakout game that made him a must-own fantasy receiver last year. He’s been battling injuries since Week 2 and battling a bad quarterback in Kyle Orton.
This week Lloyd will see plenty of San Diego Chargers cornerback Quentin Jammer, and Jammer will shut down Lloyd.
Lloyd may get a garbage-time touchdown in the fourth quarter when the Chargers are up by 20 or more points.
