WWE: Triple H, His Vote of Confidence and What It All Means
I figured that after such a dramatic Hell in a Cell PPV event like the one Sunday night, there would have been more of a buzz coming from Raw Monday evening.
What I got was a show that fell flat in terms of buildup from the event and questions left unanswered about what is forthcoming with the WWE.
Usually when a PPV event happens the night before, we get a pissed off CM Punk or a despondent John Cena or even a crazed Alberto Del Rio. Fans were treated to a match between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre to start the evening off.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Are you kidding me?
We learned that Mark Henry wants to face Big Show when he returns Friday night on Smackdown and we also learned Henry wants nothing more to do with the Apex Predator.
Nothing shocking there.
We saw a 12-man tag match. Maybe this was because the contestants from Hell in a Cell were too beat up to compete. Who knows?
What we did not learn however, is what CM Punk felt after being pinned or how John Cena was left out of the cell when this happened. We never heard raw emotion and we did not get the idea that it mattered to creative to build on this, but rather put everything in the hands of Triple H, John Laurinaitis and the future of the WWE.
There were certainly a few missteps here. Cena should have spoken loudly. Punk should have been pissed. And frankly, a little more bitching about what R-Truth and Miz did when they hit the arena and the cell to cause chaos.
Again, we got nothing.
The WWE again falls flat on its face and ratings pass by like headlights on a Porsche headed to South Beach.
What we did learn is a few more intricacies about the "conspiracy" and who the players should be. We know Truth and Miz will be part of this. We know somehow, Laurinaitis is part of this. We know there is an alliance of Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger, Cody Rhodes, Christian and David Otunga, amongst others.
And we know there will be more. We know that Triple H did not get a vote of confidence by his employees and the referees of the company as well as the support staff and commentators.
We know Michael Cole is oh so critical of Triple H, leading me to believe he is in on this (guess he is the new Eric Bischoff?) and that the three people who spoke about how they felt in the vote of confidence meeting in the arena were Wade Barrett, Beth Phoenix, and Christian, all of whom should be major players in this event.
What we do not know is why Sheamus, Punk, Orton and Cena were not there and did not speak. You figure with such a monumental event, you would have your four most popular wrestlers there to defend the company.
No such thing.
And this writer and the fans and the IWC are still as confused about this scenario as anyone else.
Yes, I think I CAN wait until next week to see how this all plays out.
