2011 MLB Playoff Schedule: David Price, CC Sabathia and 3 Stars That Will Fail
Monday is an important day on the 2011 MLB Playoff schedule, and with both games being deadlocked at one game apiece, these could be the deciding factors in each divisional series.
While this is the time for the best to show why they are regarded as such, there are many stars that have crumbled and will crumble under the intense pressure of the situation.
The following players will go down in history as some of the best to ever play the game when all is said and done, but they will come up short for their teams today when they needed them most.

10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
David Price
While David Price is the best thing the Tampa Bay Rays have going for them right now on the pitching staff, he is 0-3 with a 5.67 ERA in six career regular-season starts against Texas, including a 3-0 loss to Lewis and the Rangers at Tropicana Field on June 1.
If Price can zero in his focus and put all of his bad statistics to the side, he will have a chance to win, but if he is off just a bit, the Texas Rangers will hit the ball all over the yard.
CC Sabathia
The New York Yankees will look to their robust starter to take the hill in a pivotal Game 3 that has implications deeper than just this series. If the Yankees lose this game, they will not make it out of the divisional round.
After going 19-8 this regular season, Sabathia brings a mediocre ERA into this series, and the New York Yankees need much better than mediocre if they want a chance to win the game and the series.
There is no more overrated player in MLB right now than Alex Rodriguez, and the New York Yankees would be better off dropping Rodriguez in the lineup to keep him from killing the team's momentum.
Starting the series 0-8 is not what the Yankees had envisioned when they brought Rodriguez to their club, and his playoff disappearing act is getting old for the fans in New York. Monday will be no different.
