Diamondbacks vs. Brewers: Why Milwaukee Won't Lose a Game at Miller Park
The Arizona Diamondbacks have had a great season in 2011 under manager Kirk Gibson, but beating the Milwaukee Brewers on the road will be nearly impossible.
This series was over once Arizona was unable to gain home-field against the Brewers. When Milwaukee defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates, this series was going to be the Brewers to lose.
Prince Fielder, Ryan Braun, Rickie Weeks and Corey Hart are all capable of going off in any given game. Their offense is too powerful to overcome, especially at Miller Park.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
The Brewers were 57-24 at home in 2011, the best record in Major League Baseball. They feed off the crowd well and vice versa. Milwaukee can slug it like few teams can, which allows the fans—Miller Park brought in over three million people in 2011—to get involved in the game. After all, chicks dig the long ball.
Not just their offense, but their pitching is another area that has been much improved this season. Yovani Gallardo pitched like the season was on the line on Saturday. He went eight strong innings and allowed one run on four hits.
He’s pitching well, the offense is alive and they picked up Zach Greinke to be that second-ace they know he can be. Although he will be getting the ball in Game 3, Greinke has provided the Brewers with some much needed innings this season.
John Axford has been lights out since April. He hasn’t blown a save since that month en route to 46 saves on the season.
The shadows at Miller Park are unlike any in the game. Few teams have played against those shadows, but only one team knows how to play with the shadows and that is the Brewers.
Mix all these combinations and the Brewers have a great opportunity to make it to the World Series. If they make it, they would have home field advantage against the American League.
Miller Park is going to be a madhouse for visiting teams.
