NFL Picks Week 2: Which Teams Will Continue 2011 Implosions?
Three teams emerged from Week 1 as ones to watch, and for all the wrong reasons. The Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos all suffered tough losses, and the odds don't look any better for them heading into their Week 2 games.
The Chiefs were blown out at home against the Buffalo Bills, 41-7, while managing just 108 yards rushing and passing for just 119.
Matt Cassel and company looked to be in trouble in the preseason, and that trouble has clearly continued into the regular season. This week, they take on the Detroit Lions, and it's not likely that Kansas City will right their ship with this game.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Both their running and passing games are going to be stymied by the excellent Detroit defense. The Lions offense, led by Matt Stafford, might suffer some if his primary target Calvin Johnson cannot play.
However, Stafford has many other weapons at his disposal, and the Chiefs defense is going to have a tough time no matter who has the ball in their hands.
Another team that suffered a blowout loss in their first game, the Indianapolis Colts, have very little going for them heading into their second week contest against the Cleveland Browns.
They've lost their starting quarterback and team leader, Peyton Manning, for perhaps the entire season, and his replacement, Kerry Collins, has yet to get comfortable in the Indianapolis offense.
Now, linebackers Gary Brackett and Ernie Sims have been ruled out for the Browns game, giving that team a major advantage over the Colts on the ground and in the air.
Though the Browns lost last week to the Cincinnati Bengals, they still have a considerable amount of talent and potential, and I expect that to shine through this week in a win over Indianapolis.
The Denver Broncos are set up for a difficult season, though it just began.
In their Week 1 loss to the Oakland Raiders, the team rushed for a meager 28 yards (with just three of those contributed by running back Willis McGahee despite the team losing Knowshon Moreno to injury).
And while quarterback Kyle Orton managed to throw for more than 300 yards, he had a completion percentage just above the 50 percent mark, tossed an interception and lost an unforced fumble.
The team is out-of-synch, and with injuries to their best defensive players, Elvis Dumervil and Champ Bailey, their odds to turn around their season this week with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals are slim.
