Andrew BarrJun 7, 2018

Earlier today, Josh Koscheck was asked by his clothing sponsor, Dethrone Royalty, who he would like his opponent to be when he makes his long awaited return to the Octagon.

Koscheck made it very clear that he wanted to return this winter so that he can fight in San Jose, the city he trains in.

He was not as direct when addressing who he wanted to fight, but according to 5thround.com, he did give an interesting hint.

“I did ask for my next fight to be nov 19 in san jose at 185

” Koscheck tweeted.

Koscheck's teammate, Mike Swick, also took to Twitter and cropped some information about Josh's upcoming fight.

“@JoshKoscheck wants to go to 185lb for 1 special fight. Who can guess who it is? Stay tuned to his twitter for more info.”

No official word has been released yet as to who Koscheck is hoping to fight, but fans have been speculating that it may be Stephan Bonnar.

Bonnar and Koscheck have been feuding as of late, due to disputes involving Bonnar's clothing company using Josh's likeness when Josh had an exclusive deal signed with Dethrone Royalty.

Whether or not Koscheck will stay at middleweight also has not yet been confirmed, but it wouldn't be surprising if he did, now that he has been dominated twice by current welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.

St-Pierre and Koscheck met for the second time at UFC 124 this past December. GSP won the fight and also broke Josh's orbital bone in the first round.

By the fight's end, Koscheck's eye was looking grotesque, and he has been out of action since, due to the injury.
