Colts-Bears: There's No Place Like RCA Dome
Maybe the Colts are missing the comforts of their old RCA Dome. Last night was the first regular-season game in the brand new Lucas Oil Stadium. Complete with its retractable roof, the new dome adds 5,000 seats for the screaming fans of the Colts.
The RCA Dome was always said to be very loud. Loud enough that the Colts were accused of playing crowd noise through the speakers at times. Maybe the new open roof let out a lot of that sound, as well as the players' tenacity.
The team looked good at times...And Chicago did not for most of the game. Indianapolis won the battle through the air behind Peyton Manning's 257 yards and 1 TD. Kyle Orton was only able to squeeze out 150 yards passing. Wayne, Harrison, and Gonzalez all looked good, racking up about 210 yards and a TD between them.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It was very nice to see Marvin out there again, playing well for the most part...Minus a fumble later in the game that killed a promising drive.
Where the Colts lost this game was on the ground.
Addai was only able to rush for 44 yards. Hart and Rhodes accounted for another nine yards. The rookie phenom, Matt Forte from Tulsa, led the way for the Bears. He rushed for 123 yards and a TD. There was even a reference to Walter Peyton when talking about Forte.
Of all of the events Lucas Oil Stadium will house, this was arguably the most important, and the Colts couldn't open it up with a win. If it's any consolation, they were able to put the first points on the board, with an Adam Vinatieri FG.
The first TD was by a rookie RB, and the first regular-season game was won by the Chicago Bears...a team the Colts beat in their most recent Super Bowl victory.
