Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Detroit Lions (Lions Schedule)
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Buffalo Pass Defense—2010: Yards Allowed/Game Sixth—TDs Allowed T-29th
Buffalo Rush Defense—2010: Yards Allowed/Game 32nd—TDs Allowed T-27th
Detroit Offensive Cast
Shaun Hill (QB Week 10 Ranking No. 11) 2010 Season: 127/208—for 1,309 Yards and nine TDs
With Hill being named the starter for the game against the Bills this Sunday, I put him up in the rankings. Buffalo gives up TDs galore to opposing wide receivers/tight ends, and with the Lions crew of Megatron, Brandon Pettigrew, Nate Burleson and Tony Scheffler, I can’t see Hill not throwing for a couple of them in Week 9.
Matthew Stafford (QB Week 10) 2010 Season: 57/96—for 535 Yards and six TDs
Stafford is down for the count again, and he might not get back up this time.
Jahvid Best (RB Week 10 Ranking No. 17) 2010 Season: 107 Carries for 345 Yards and four TDs. 41 Recs for 356 Yards and one TD
Like a 17-year old boy at prom, he was quick out of the gates, only to let up when the other team was riling up. Teenage boys have more stamina than we give them credit for, especially when they’re looking at a sure thing like the Bills. Best could very well live up to his name this weekend.
Kevin Smith (RB Week 10) 2010 Season: 28 Carries for 114 Yards and zero TDs. Eight Recs for 82 Yards and zero TDs
Smith isn’t getting quite enough touches to make a difference yet.
Calvin Johnson (WR Week 10 Ranking No. 3) 2010 Season: 39 Recs for 551 Yards and eight TDs
Megatron couldn’t find a way off Revis Island last week. So what? Buffalo may do pretty well against the pass in terms of yards allowed (sixth in the NFL), but they’re also tied for 29th in passing TDs allowed (17 in eight games). Calvin should be able to haul in at least one, and possibly more, against these guys.
Nate Burleson (WR Week 10 Ranking No. 44) 2010 Season: 26 Recs for 289 Yards and three TDs
Shaun Hill will be getting the start this week against the Bills, so that’s good news for the Lions' offense. If Buffalo slides a safety over to double Megatron in this game, Burleson could be in line for a bunch of targets and opportunities to score for your team.
Brandon Pettigrew (TE Week 10 Ranking No. 4) 2010 Season: 38 Recs for 362 Yards and three TDs
Pettigrew loves that Shaun Hill is back under center, as he averaged 6.4 catches on nine targets while he was the starter for five games earlier this year. Buffalo also happens to be the worst team in the league defending opposing tight ends, so don’t be surprised if Brandon has a career game this Sunday.
Tony Scheffler (TE Week 10) 2010 Season: 28 Recs for 239 Yards and one TD
Both Scheffler and Pettigrew are getting looks, but Petty still remains the better fantasy play right now.
Buffalo Bills (Bills Schedule)
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Detroit Pass Defense—2010: Yards Allowed/Game 22nd—TDs Allowed T-15th
Detroit Rush Defense—2010: Yards Allowed/Game 27th—TDs Allowed T-27th
Buffalo Offensive Cast
Ryan Fitzpatrick (QB Week 10 Ranking No. 8) 2010 Season: 136/227—for 1,499 Yards & 13 TDs
I still don’t think Fitzpatrick is all that good, but in the six games he’s started this year, he’s averaged over two TDs and 250 yards/game. Not too shabby to say the least, and at home against a suspect Detroit Pass D, he should be able to duplicate those numbers without a problem.
Fred Jackson (RB Week 10 Ranking No. 24) 2010 Season: 83 Carries for 313 Yards and two TDs. 12 Recs for 28 Yards and zero TDs
Are the Lions a terrible defensive team? Yeah, sometimes, but they’re getting better. If they hadn’t shown signs of improvement the past few weeks, I’d put FJax up a few notches. However, I wouldn’t expect more than 70-80 total yards and maybe a lucky TD thrown in there this weekend.
C.J. Spiller (RB Week 10) 2010 Season: 39 Carries for 150 Yards and zero TDs. 18 Recs for 81 Yards and one TD
If Spiller can somehow get his hands on the ball 10 or more times this game, he might be able to rattle off some decent yardage.
Lee Evans (WR Week 10 Ranking No. 32) 2010 Season: 29 Recs for 373 Yards and four TDs
Either Steve Johnson or Evans is going to score this Sunday, and quite frankly, it wouldn’t surprise me if both crossed the goal-line. Lee may not be the answer to your fantasy receiving woes, but he’s working pretty well with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick right now so he could be worth a shot if your normal guys are on their bye.
Steve Johnson (WR Week 10 Ranking No. 12) 2010 Season: 41 Recs for 554 Yards and six TDs
Johnson has become a force to be reckoned with this year as he’s averaged nine targets, 5.8 catches, 80.5 yards and one TD over the past six Bills games. He should be able to surpass those numbers in a home game against the 22nd ranked Pass D in the league.
Jonathan Stupar (TE Week 10) 2010 Season: 7 Recs for 59 Yards and zero TD
Does anyone know if this guy still plays?
