Shooting: Jennings or Wall?
Brandon Jennings shot a 37 percent from beyond the three point line last year in his rookie season. He also has a nice jumpshot. Jennings also shot 37 percent from the field and a lot of those shots were mid range jumpshots. When the Bucks are at the end of a game, Jennings can be the guy shooting because Skiles knows that he can trust Brandon to make a play or take a three. Jennings made a total of 145 threes last season, a record for a Bucks rookie.
John Wall shot 32 percent from beyond the three point line last year at the University of Kentucky. Wall does not really shoot a lot of jump shots. Wall can be dependent at the end of a game but not because of his jump shot. He made a total of 37 threes last season.
NBA PG Shooting Comparison:
John Wall: Rajon Rondo
Brandon Jennings: Chris Paul
Winner: Jennings wins the shooting category.
Driving: Jennings or Wall?

Brandon Jennings can create plays for himself by driving. He is known for having a pretty good floater, my personal favorite shot, and can make shots over centers by using that shot. Since Jennings has been in the NBA he has only dunked once or twice. Jennings can blow past certain point guards but is not known as a guy who takes it to the rim often.
Jon Wall drives to the basket almost every play. He creates plays by either by making the shot or kicking it out to a shooter or dribbling and starting the play over. Wall is easily one of the most athletic point guards in the NBA. He has had many highlight dunks in his college, preseason, and summer league seasons. Wall can catch alleyoops as we saw in the Elite 24 Midnight Run, where he caught an alleyoop from Brandon Jennings.
NBA PG Driving Comparison:
Brandon Jennings: It’s hard to say for Jennings.
John Wall: Derrick Rose or Rondo.

Passing: Jennings or Wall?
3 of 5
Brandon Jennings averaged 5.7 assists last season with a total of 470 assists. He is very good at finding open players and can also throw a good alleyoop. Just ask John Wall.
John Wall averaged 6.5 assists with a total of 241 assists. Wall can be a great passer in the NBA if he has players that will run the break with him. He also can find open guys while running regular offense but excels on the break.
NBA PG Comparison: None

Defense: Brandon Jennings or John Wall?
4 of 5
Brandon Jennings is a pretty good defender. He can steal and rebound, because of his quickness and athleticism. Rebounding for point guards is always an added bonus. Jennings can give teams that added bonus. Last year he averaged 1.3 steals and 3.4 rebounds, totals being 105 steals and 282 rebounds.
John Wall has similar defensive skills as Jennings. He can steal and rebound just as good if not better than Jennings. Wall averaged 1.8 steals and 4.3 rebounds, totals being 66 steals and 159 rebounds.
NBA PG Comparison: Eachother

Overall: Brandon Jennings or John Wall, who wins?
5 of 5
I pick Brandon Jennings. He can’t drive as good as Wall, he can drive, but he also can shoot the ball a lot better than John wall can. John probably wins the defensive category, even though I said tie. If I had to pick, I would pick Wall. But I want a shooter. Who do you want? Who do you think is better? Comment below!
(I also asked 10 people, 5 said Wall, 5 said Jennings.)
