Kansas City Chiefs Look to Rebound Against Wounded Jaguars
The Kansas City Chiefs got off to a blazing start to the 2010 season by winning their first three games against division rival San Diego, on the road at Cleveland and at home against the hapless 49ers.
However, after a bye week, the team suffered two heartbreaking losses against a couple of high-powered offenses from the AFC South.
This Sunday, KC will square off against a familiar opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags come in at 3-3, after a recent 30-3 Monday night beat-down that they suffered against Tennessee.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jacksonville, like the Chiefs, came in to the '10 season with a lot of question marks. Many have questioned if QB David Garrard is the man for the job, and his sub-par numbers this year indicate that this is still very much a concern.
The Jaguars were also wondering how they could somehow improve a pass defense that finished 27th in the league a year ago. So far in 2010, the team has done nothing to show improvement in this area, as they are 28th in the league through six games this season.
Kansas City is one of the worst passing offenses in the NFL as they only average around 164 yards per game, with QB Matt Cassel throwing a lot of short passes to receivers throughout most of the game.
Although having a porous pass defense might not hurt the Jags that much on Sunday, not being able to stop the two-headed rushing monster that KC possess will. I am indeed talking about Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones, who currently rank 6th and 11th in AFC rushing yards, respectively.
The Chiefs could have a field day if they can run all over Jacksonville with these two talented backs. Also, look for the Jaguars to stack the box, forcing QB Matt Cassel to go down field against them.
Another possible advantage for the Chiefs looks to be the excessive amount of recent injuries incurred by their opponent from Florida, particularly at the quarterback position.
Starter David Garrard hasn't been practicing this week, and backup Trent Edwards is currently nursing an injured thumb. This means that recently signed journeyman QB Todd Bouman could get the start for Jacksonville.
The Chiefs will also have what many in Kansas City call is the 12th man, or the ruckus crowd at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Jags will be hungry for a win to keep pace with the rest of the AFC South while KC is just looking to prove to everyone that they are the real deal this season.
The future looks bright for KC, and there is no reason to think that it will get any dimmer on Sunday afternoon.
