2010-11 NBA Fantasy Basketball Rankings: Centers
Ryan LesterOct 8, 2010
Some of these players are power forwards, but this is a fantasy basketball article, and they have center eligibility. That said, here’s a look at my 2010-11 fantasy power forward rankings.
- Amar’e Stoudemire: I’m expecting big things in New York.
- Pau Gasol: Proved he’s more than just Kobe’s sidekick.
- Dwight Howard: FT% keeps him from being No. 1.
- Brook Lopez: Does everything well.
- David Lee: Should still put up big numbers with Golden State.
- Chris Bosh: Numbers take a hit teaming with LeBron and Wade.
- Zach Randolph: Always seems to produce despite being overlooked.
- Andrea Bargnani: Should be focal point of Toronto’s offense.
- Al Jefferson: Great fit in Utah.
- Tim Duncan: Doesn’t produce like before, but still a quality No. 1 center.
- Carlos Boozer: Health is his only issue.
- Kevin Love: Could be huge if Minnesota uses him properly.
- Al Horford: Not a sexy pick, but a great foundation.
- Marc Gasol: Made great strides last year. Could be even better.
- Nene Hilario: Injury issues seem to be behind him.
- LaMarcus Aldridge: Could lose production if Oden ever plays.
- Andray Blatche: Arenas’s return should hurt his scoring.
- Troy Murphy: Move to New Jersey shouldn’t hurt his value.
- Paul Millsap: Would have ranked him higher if Big Al wasn’t there.
- Joakim Noah: Boozer’s arrival will hurt his production.
- Marcus Camby: Health plus crowded frontcourt could be issues.
- Chris Kaman: Clippers will have more scoring options this year.
- Channing Frye: Big three-point lift from center position.
- Luis Scola: Should continue to develop into solid big man.
- Andrew Bynum: If only he could stay healthy.
