WWE's Hart/McMahon Angle Boosts Ratings, Will The Rock Do the Same?
WWE has had some success with the Bret Hart/Vince McMahon feud that has developed recently on Monday Night Raw.
Hart made his return after a 12-year absence recently to confront Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon. Shawn and Bret buried the hatchet, but McMahon was a different story.
Vince attacked Bret, and a few weeks later Batista attacked The Hitman while he was beating on McMahon. This past week, we saw Bret run in and attack Vince in a surprise appearance from the Hitman.

The obvious angle will end in a match of some kind at Mania, it may be a one-on-one match between McMahon and Hart, or it could be similar to the battle of the billionaires, where we saw each man pick a representative to go in the ring.
The WWE has been seeing higher numbers for Raw, but now that there are reports of The Rock coming into the company in some kind of management position, could we see WWE get back to it's former glory?
I am not referring exclusively to the Attitude era but the five to 10 years where WWE dominated in ratings as well as rich storylines and characters. The '80s, '90s, and even parts of the early 2000s had some amazing moments, and that is what led to WWE becoming a global phenomenon.
Now the WWE is still top of the ladder, but when that ladder is a step stool instead of a fireman's ladder it doens't mean much.
WWE has been without major competition until recently, and even some still don't view TNA as competition to WWE. Bringing in one of the most popular superstars of all time in Bret Hart was great, now bringing in the Rock could cement WWE's rise back to prominence.
Since going kid friendly the WWE has lost some of it's edge, and bringing back one of the founding fathers of the Attitude era would certainly bring in some viewers.
The Rock is by far one of the best mic men in the business, and having him fill a managerial role of some kind makes perfect sense, except for one thing: people want to see him wrestle.
I know The Rock has been saying he won't wrestle unless it is the perfect angle, but if he is around the environment of wrestling again I think he will be more inclined to lace up those boots one more time.
So what do you think: Will the Rock help WWE get back some of its lost glory?
