One golf fan got an early start on drinking his beer Thursday at the 2018 Masters after professional golfer Jason Day managed to hit a drive into his cup.

Day's ball hit some trees in the area first before bouncing off the fan's shoulder and into his cup. The fan proceeded to do his civic duty and chug his beer so the Australian star could get the ball back and continue his round.

Officials told the fan that Day had to identify his ball in order to play it.

The good news for the fan is concession prices at The Masters are among the best values in all of sports, with beer prices this year ranging from $4 domestics to $5 for foreign and American crafts.
