DeAngelo Hall to Open Redskins Camp on PUP List Following 2016 Knee Surgery
ESPN's John Keim reported Monday that Washington Redskins safety DeAngelo Hall will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list.
The veteran defensive back suffered a torn ACL in Week 3 of the 2016 season.
Hall appeared in just three games last season, and durability has become a major area of concern for him in recent years.

The 33-year-old also missed all but three games in 2014, and he appeared in just 11 games during the 2015 campaign.
Hall is set to enter his 10th season with the Redskins after previous stints as a member of the Atlanta Falcons and Oakland Raiders.
He came into the league as a cornerback after getting selected with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft out of Virginia Tech, but he has transitioned to a safety role since 2015.
Hall is a three-time Pro Bowler with 43 career interceptions and 10 career defensive touchdowns to his credit; however, he is more of a luxury than a necessity to the Redskins currently.
Washington has Su'a Cravens and D.J. Swearinger penciled in as starting safeties with Will Blackmon and rookie fourth-round pick Montae Nicholson providing depth.
If Hall is able to return to full health for the 2017 season, though, it will give the Redskins a valuable veteran presence with playmaking ability on the back end.
