
Terry Francona Won't Manage Indians vs. Rangers After Overnight Hospitalization
Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona will not be with the team during Tuesday's game against the Texas Rangers after leaving Monday's game early with an unspecified health issue.
The Indians issued a statement on Francona's health, noting he's expected to be back for Wednesday's game and offering a sarcastic comment about bench coach Brad Mills:

The Indians announced during Monday's game that Francona left Progressive Field early.
MLB.com's Jordan Bastian noted after the game this is the second time in two weeks Francona has been forced to leave early due to sickness, previously doing so on June 13 against the Los Angeles Dodgers when he felt lightheaded.
Francona has been Cleveland's manager since 2013. The 58-year-old has led the team to two playoff appearances, including a trip to the World Series in 2016, and was named American League Manager of the Year in 2013 and 2016.
