Warriors Parade 2017: Start Time, Live-Stream Schedule for Victory Celebration
Golden State Warriors fans have been waiting since June 19, 2016—the day the Cleveland Cavaliers bested the Warriors in Game 7 of the NBA Finals in heartbreaking fashion—to have another opportunity to celebrate their team winning an NBA title like they did in 2015.
On Thursday, June 15, they will have that chance again, as the Warriors victory parade is set to take over downtown Oakland, California.
In 2015, an estimated 500,000 fans were waiting in the streets of downtown Oakland along the parade route to cheer on their team, with some showing up as early as 3 a.m., per ESPN.
This year could prove to be even bigger, as fans' excitement has reached fever pitch after enduring yet another finals meeting with the Cavs and, this time, emerging triumphant. Outside of and including the actual parade route spectators, one million spectators are expected to participate in the festivities on Thursday, per NBA.com.
All the details you need to know to attend the parade, watch it on TV or stream it are below, including street closures and when and where you'll need to line up to see Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and the rest of your favorite players hoist their trophy.
