Rich Hill Exits vs. Diamondbacks After Aggravating Blister on Pitching Hand
Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill left Sunday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks after pitching three innings.
The Los Angeles Times' Bill Shaikin reported Hill aggravated a blister on his left middle finger.
Hill was making his first start since spending time on the 10-day disabled list for the same issue. The injury dates back to last year as well, adding further concern for the team.

In an interview with the Orange County Register's J.P. Hoornstra, the veteran left-hander posited the blister could be a result of increased sweat on his fingertips—something he has noticed more later in his MLB career.
"As you get older, I noticed I sweat more," the 37-year-old said. "I don’t know if that has something to do with more moisture."
After arriving ahead of last year's trade deadline, Hill went 3-2 with a 1.83 ERA in six starts for the Dodgers, and he established himself as the team's No. 3 starter behind Clayton Kershaw and Kenta Maeda.
Still, durability has long been a question mark about Hill. Only once prior to 2016 did he throw 100-plus innings in an MLB season, and he eclipsed 190-plus innings twice when combining his minor league and major league production.
The fact Hill's blister is already a problem in 2017 isn't good for the Dodgers despite the talent at the top of their rotation.
