
Tye Dillinger Makes WWE Main Roster Debut on SmackDown
Tye Dillinger made his long-awaited debut with WWE's main roster Tuesday night on SmackDown Live.
Dillinger answered a challenge from Curt Hawkins. He defeated Hawkins with the Tye Breaker. WWE showed The Perfect 10 arriving on SmackDown:

Dillinger first appeared on WWE programming at the Royal Rumble, appropriately showing up as the 10th entrant:
The timing of his debut makes sense. Over the last few years, a number of top stars have made the jump shortly after WrestleMania. In addition, Dillinger's rivalry with Eric Young and SAnitY appeared to have run its course after he teamed with Ruby Riot, Kassius Ohno and Roderick Strong in a losing effort at NXT TakeOver: Orlando.
WWE chairman Vince McMahon announced Monday the company will shake up the roster next week on Raw, so Dillinger's stay on SmackDown Live may be short-lived.
If Dillinger remains with the blue brand, it would be the perfect fit for The Perfect 10.
Since the brand extension, SmackDown has arguably been superior to Raw in terms of storytelling and in-ring action. On Raw, Dillinger could get lost in the shuffle, whereas he might have an opportunity to shine on SmackDown.
The Miz is a perfect example of a wrestler whose profile has grown exponentially as a result of wrestling on SmackDown.
Dillinger could have a similar rise—albeit to a slightly lesser extent.
