Joe Mixon Is Still on Chargers' 2017 NFL Draft Board According to Anthony Lynn
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn revealed Wednesday that running back Joe Mixon hasn't been removed from the team's draft board.
The Chargers visited with Mixon recently, and Lynn said the following about the meeting, according to Dan Woike of the San Diego Union-Tribune: "We just wanted to pick his brain and see where he was at football-wise because he wasn't at the combine. He did a good job with that, He's still on the draft board. It didn't change much. ... We know he can play football. He's one of the best backs in the draft. We just wanted to do our homework, that's all."

In December, video surfaced of Mixon punching a woman at a Norman, Oklahoma, sandwich shop in 2014.
Mixon pleaded guilty to assault without making an admission of guilt and was suspended for the entire 2014 season, per ESPN.com.
Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald recently reported that the New England Patriots had removed Mixon from their draft board due to the off-field issue.
According to Woike, Lynn said he believes in second chances and had positive things to say about Mixon: "He was definitely remorseful about what happened and seemed like a really mature young man. He accepted responsibilities, and moving forward, I don't see him doing it again. ... But I can't sit here and say that he gets it. I don't know. I don't know the kid. I had a good hour meeting with him."
Mixon registered 1,274 rushing yards, 10 rushing touchdowns, 538 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns for the Oklahoma Sooners in 2016.
Bleacher Report's Matt Miller ranked Mixon as the No. 18 overall player and No. 2 running back in the 2017 draft class on his latest big board.
Miller also projected Mixon to be picked 24th overall by the Oakland Raiders in his newest mock draft.
