Student with Cerebral Palsy Notches Assist During High School Game

Zac WassinkJan 18, 2017

Sports often go beyond winning and losing, and that was the case at Freedom High School in Morganton, North Carolina, on Wednesday evening.

According to ESPN.com, Mitchell Greathouse, a student at the school with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, was able to take the court and, with some help, deliver a pass to a teammate during a game.

Students and others in the crowd erupted once the assist was official following the bucket, and Greathouse's teammates celebrated with him.
