Latest on Cravens' Diagnosis

Washington head coach Jay Gruden told reporters Cravens has a "moderate elbow strain" and is "day-to-day, week-to-week."
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com on Sunday, Washington feared he suffered a partially torn biceps. Cravens was spotted with his arm in a sling after the game, per Master Tesfatsion of the Washington Post.
Cravens' Versatility Is Vital to Redskins
The 21-year-old rookie came into Week 14 with 33 tackles, a sack and an interception on the season.
The loss of Cravens is a major one, as he's played a hybrid role as a safety and linebacker in Washington's defense and has been excellent covering tight ends and running backs. He's been effective in nickel coverages for Washington and is the starting strong safety of the future.
NFL Philosophy had strong praise for Cravens on Twitter:
Washington doesn't have another defender with his versatility, so replacing him is difficult. While Cravens' absence won't affect the starting lineup, it weakens Washington's nickel unit.
