WWE Survivor Series 2016: Women's Traditional Match Preview and Prediction
The women's revolution within WWE will take center stage Sunday night as the promotion rolls into Toronto for the 2016 incarnation of its Survivor Series pay-per-view.
The top female competitors in the industry will wage war, with Charlotte Flair leading Team Raw against Nikki Bella and Team SmackDown Live in a battle for brand supremacy.
The eyes of the wrestling world may be on Brock Lesnar and Goldberg, but for the likes of Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss and Carmella, this match could serve as the launching pad for the sport's next breakout Superstars.

Dissension is the keyword in this match.
None of the teammates like each other, and each is vying for her brand's specific championship. There is discourse among the competitors—the one common bond holding them together being their pride in their respective brands.
Flair, the Raw women's champion, will have to coexist with Sasha Banks and Bayley, both of whom are eyeing her title. Factor in the destructive Nia Jax and her past issues with partner Alicia Fox, and you have a red brand represented by Superstars who would rather hit each other than focus their attention on the opposition.
Speaking of that opposition, SmackDown women's champion Becky Lynch is not even the captain of the squad. Instead, Bella gets that honor. Things are not much better from a cohesion standpoint, though, as Bliss and Carmella are targeting the popular babyfaces.
Key to victory for either team will be its ability to set aside its differences for the entirety of the match.
Given the egos involved, particularly on the Raw side, where the biggest babyface refers to herself as The Boss, that will prove difficult.
Prediction
Raw always takes precedence over SmackDown. Flair, Banks and Bayley are the biggest stars in the division. That adds up to what one would assume is a dominant Raw victory.
The red brand will still emerge victorious, but it will not be nearly as one-sided as one would assume.
Lynch has been portrayed as a strong champion to this point, overcoming the odds to retain. She will be the final member of Team SmackDown before being taken down and eliminated by Flair and Jax.
These matches can be star-making vehicles. In years past, numerous stars have earned substantial pushes based off their performances in elimination tag bouts at Survivor Series. Sheamus, for example, parlayed a dominant win to a WWE Championship run one month later.
Jax is just the Superstar to seize the moment and come out of the event better off than she was entering it.
