WWE Raw: Burning Questions to Address After Nov. 14 Show
Momentum lost and gained raised questions on the Nov. 14 episode of WWE Raw ahead of the Survivor Series 2016 pay-per-view on Sunday.
The New Day extended its recent losing streak. Sami Zayn added to his rising win total. And the red brand's male Survivor Series team came together against a common enemy on Monday's Raw from Buffalo, New York.
Those results left the futures of all those Superstars unclear.

Is New Day set to slide down the ladder as Zayn climbs up? Is Team Raw's cohesion for real?
Let's dive in and search for answers as the countdown to Sunday's PPV continues.
What Do The New Day's Recent Losses Mean?
After entertaining the crowd with holiday gift ideas, The New Day fell to the odd trio of Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho. The tag team champs are now 0-4 in their last four bouts, per CageMatch.net.
Is WWE prepping The New Day to be dethroned? Will this recent slide cause friction between Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston?
After the champs' latest loss, Tim Fiorvanti of ESPN.com wrote, "It's actually been kind of nice to see some cracks in the armor as New Day approaches Demolition's all-time WWE tag team title reign record."
Maybe WWE is just showing the titleholders' vulnerability for the sake of shaking things up. After all, they've sat atop the division for well over a year now.
Survivor Series will offer a better indication of what direction the trio is headed. Should The New Day contribute in a big way to the 10-on-10 brand battle at the PPV, leading the way to a Raw victory, fans can stop worrying.
Is Team Raw Really Unified?
After weeks of bickering and brawling, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman and Chris Jericho looked like a cohesive unit on Monday night. It took an invasion from SmackDown to get to that point.
At the close of the show, AJ Styles and his fellow SmackDown Superstars stepped onto enemy turf. Reigns and the rest of Team Raw pushed back, standing tall after a whirlwind scuffle.
Is that a sign of cohesion, or will things fall apart with Reigns, Owens and others at Survivor Series?
Reigns and Rollins' chemistry was quite noticeable on Monday's Raw. And while Strowman rejected Jericho's peace offering of a designer scarf, the two didn't knock each other to the floor. It sure looks like the squad is coming together at just the right time.
The focus can now shift to brand warfare on Sunday.
Is Sami Zayn's Momentum for Real?
All of a sudden, Zayn is in the midst of a push. WWE neglected the underdog for so long after the Battleground PPV in July, but his journey has now begun to pick up some speed.
Zayn bested Bo Dallas on Monday's Raw in a warm-up bout for his Intercontinental Championship clash at Survivor Series.
It seems unlikely that Zayn would win the belt, as it would give Raw at least two midcard titles at the same time. If The Brian Kendrick holds on to his Cruiserweight Championship at the PPV, the red brand will be home to three minor titles.
Whether Zayn wins or loses at Survivor Series, though, it looks as if WWE is recognizing his value.
Former WCW manager Missy Hyatt compared him to Daniel Bryan but noted that the company hasn't booked him well to this point:
That looks to be in the process of changing. Hopefully, this is only the beginning of an upward move for The Underdog from the Underground, as IC champ or otherwise.
What's the True Main Event?
As much as WWE has promoted Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar to this point, the general assumption has been that their WrestleMania XX rematch would be Survivor Series' main event.
On Monday, however, the two powerhouses' confrontation didn't go on last. WWE saved that prime spot for a clash between Raw's male Survivor Series team and the SmackDown squad.
Was that a means to boost ratings in the middle of the show? Or was it an indication of how the Survivor Series card will unfold?
Goldberg and Lesnar will draw in casual fans regardless of where they end up on the card. Should Raw vs. SmackDown close the show, it will brighten the spotlight on WWE's rising stars rather than two part-timers.
WWE could make a statement about Owens, Reigns and the rest of the gang being key to the future.
But with Goldberg's and Lesnar's mugs on the PPV poster and this being Goldberg's first WWE match in over a decade, it will be tough to bet against that contest headlining, New Era or not.
