WWE Survivor Series 2016: Full Predictions for Each Champion at Event
Most of WWE's champions find themselves in the unusual position of not having to defend their belts at Sunday's Survivor Series 2016 pay-per-view.
There will be a handful of title matches, but both tag champions, both women's champions and the world titleholders will instead be in the traditional Survivor Series matches.
However, that doesn't mean that they won't be out of the spotlight, as future storylines can be significantly developed this weekend.
Here's what could be in store for each and every champion competing at Survivor Series on Sunday night.
The Brian Kendrick (Cruiserweight Champion)
1 of 5
The stakes are higher for The Brian Kendrick than for any other champion at Survivor Series this year.
Not only is Kendrick fighting to retain his WWE Cruiserweight Championship, but he's also fighting to keep the division on Raw and Monday nights.
If he loses to Kalisto, the division will move to SmackDown, setting up an intriguing and potentially exciting time for the cruiserweights.
But will Kendrick keep hold of the title?
The stipulation that the cruiserweight division will move to SmackDown if Kendrick loses is a strange one to put in play if he's simply going to retain the title and move on.
So all the signs point to Kalisto causing what would be an upset, sparking a radical change for the cruiserweight division.
Dolph Ziggler (Intercontinental Champion)

It seems likely that the cruiserweight and IC titles will either both get new owners or both be successfully defended at Survivor Series.
Should The Brian Kendrick lose to Kalisto, it will increase the chances that Raw will get the Intercontinental Championship in an effective trade for the Cruiserweight Championship.
Does Dolph Ziggler deserve to lose the title? Probably not, given how compelling his storyline with The Miz has been, but Raw can't really lose a title and a division without getting one of each in return.
And with Sami Zayn, the belt would have a great champion on Monday nights. His WWE career has yet to really take off, but winning a title as prestigious as this could be the launchpad for Zayn.
Back Zayn to cause an upset and win the title.
The Tag Champions
3 of 5The rest of WWE's champions are not likely to defend their belts, instead taking part in the traditional Survivor Series matches.
And that includes both The New Day and Heath Slater and Rhyno, the tag champions on Raw and SmackDown, respectively.
Most of the team matches at Survivor Series look fairly even on paper, but in the tag division match, Raw looks to have a clear advantage.
However, there's always the potential for Raw's heel tag teams, such as Gallows and Anderson, to turn on The New Day during the match, hampering Raw's chances of victory.
Both of these teams will go close to being around at the end, but it seems more likely that as it continues to break records in the tag division, The New Day stands the greater chance of victory.
The Women's Champions
4 of 5Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch head to Survivor Series knowing they won't be defending their titles. Instead, they will be pivotal parts of their teams for the traditional Survivor Series match involving the women's divisions.
Whether Charlotte lasts the distance could yet depend on one of her former or future challengers taking her out during the match.
Will Sasha Banks cost Raw victory by taking down Charlotte? Or will Bayley make her presence felt and establish herself as Charlotte's next foe by eliminating her?
Charlotte could easily be eliminated before the closing stages of the match, but Lynch seems far more likely to go the distance. She's a standout member of the SmackDown team, and it's not impossible that with Raw's team fighting between themselves, she'll play a crucial role in helping SmackDown win.
The World Champions
5 of 5Will Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho manage to stay on the same page at Survivor Series? And will AJ Styles find friends rather than enemies on Team SmackDown this Sunday?
Both major champions will undoubtedly be in the main event of Survivor Series until the end of the contest, but Owens' alliance with Jericho could yet cost him.
A Jericho turn is surely in the offing at some point, and if it happens this weekend, it will at least allow WWE to have a Jericho-Owens feud for the WWE Universal Championship, as Owens will have the belt no matter what after Survivor Series.
There's the possibility of some turns on the other team, too, probably working in Styles' favor, if he manages to convince Team SmackDown to attack Dean Ambrose.
This match is the toughest of the three to call. But Styles will probably go slightly deeper in the match than Owens and may well end up winning.
